Privacy Policy

Korea Matsui (sales_kmi@matsui.net, hereinafter Korea Matsui) protects personal information of information subjects in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act and handles complaints related to this quickly and smoothly. In order to do so, Korea Matsui establishes and discloses the following personal information processing policy.


This privacy policy is effective from January 1, 2023.


Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)


Korea Matsui (sales_kmi@matsui.net, hereinafter Korea Matsui) processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be taken.

Personal information is processed only for the purpose of providing services and contents.



Article 2 (Period of Processing and Retention of Personal Information)


Korea Matsui processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use of personal information in accordance with laws and regulations, or within the period of retention and use of personal information agreed upon when the personal information is collected from the information subject.


Each personal information processing and retention period is as follows.

Article 3 (Items of Personal Information to Be Processed)

Article 4 (Deletion Procedure and Method for Personal Information)


Korea Matsui shall delete personal information without delay when the personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the personal information retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose.


In the event that personal information must be retained in accordance with other laws and regulations even though the personal information retention period agreed to by the information subject has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the personal information shall be moved to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different storage location.

The procedure and method of deletion of personal information are as follows:

Korea Matsui shall select the personal information for which the reason for deletion occurred and delete the personal information with the approval of the person responsible for the protection of personal information of Korea Matsui.

Korea Matsui uses a technical method which prevents records from being reproduced for information in the format of the electronic file.



Article 5 (Matters Concerning the Rights and Obligations of Information Subjects and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercising Them)


The information subject can exercise the right to view, correct, delete, or suspend processing of personal information at any time for Korea Matsui.


The exercise of the rights pursuant to Paragraph 1 may be done through writing, email, fax, etc., in accordance with Article 41 (1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and Korea Matsui shall take action without any delay.


The exercise of rights pursuant to Paragraph 1 may be done through a legal representative of the information subject or a person who has been delegated. In this case, a power of attorney in the form of Attachment No. 11 of the Notification on the Method of Handling Personal Information (No. 2020-7).


The request for viewing and suspending the processing of personal information may restrict the rights of the information subject under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of Personal Information Protection Act.


Requests for correction or deletion of personal information cannot be made if the personal information is specified as a collection target in other laws.


Korea Matsui confirms whether the person who made the request, whether a request for viewing, correction or deletion, or a request for suspension of processing, is the information subject himself or herself, or a legal representative according to the rights of the information subject.



Article 6 (Matters Concerning Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information)


Korea Matsui is taking the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.

Korea Matsui is implementing measures to manage personal information by designating employees who handle personal information and limiting them to those in charge.



Article 7 (Matters Concerning the Installation and Operation of Devices That Automatically Collect Personal Information and Their Rejection)


Korea Matsui uses Cookies to store and retrieve information from time to time to provide users with individually customized services.


Cookies are a small amount of information that the server (http) used to run the website sends to the user's computer browser, and is sometimes stored on the hard disk of the user's PC.


A. Purpose of using Cookies: Cookies are used to provide optimized information to users by identifying their types of visits, uses, and popular search terms, and providing secure access to each service and website.

Korea Matsui is responsible for the overall handling of personal information, and designates a person in charge of personal information protection as follows for complaint handling and damage relief for information subjects related to personal information processing.

The information subject may inquire about all personal information protection-related inquiries, complaint handling, damage relief, etc., that occurred while using the service (or business) of Korea Matsui to the person in charge of personal information protection and the division in charge.


Korea Matsui will answer and handle any inquiries of an information subject without delay.



Article 9 (Division That Receives and Processes Requests for Access to Personal Information)


The information subject may file a request for access to personal information in accordance with Article 35 of the Personal Information Protection Act to the following divisions:

Article 10 (Method of Remedy for the Infringement of Rights and Interests of the Information Subject)


The information subject can apply for dispute resolution or consultation to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee or the Personal Information Infringement Report Center of the Korea Internet & Security Agency in order to receive assistance in the event of personal information infringement. In addition, please contact the following institutions for other reports and counseling regarding infringements of personal information.

Any person who has suffered from the infringement of their rights or profit loss due to disposition or omission by the head of a public institution following their request pursuant to Article 35 (Access to Personal Information), Article 36 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information), and Article 37 (Suspension of Processing of Personal Information, etc.) of the Personal Information Protection Act may file for an administrative trial as prescribed in the Administrative Trial Act.
